From Oracle to Cloud: Accelerating Patient Access and Financial Transparency

The Challenge
A global biopharma had a requirement to bring all their commercial and patient access data together into one single platform. They were managing patient enrollment, authorizations, copay programs and product launches across multiple systems. The teams saw the need to connect these operations in one place that could show them the full view of patient affordability, therapy coverage and business performance in real time.
- Expanding Patient Access Visibility
The organization wanted to integrate different data sources like Salesforce, call center systems and vendor tools into one environment so they could track enrollment and authorization activities as they happened.
- Enhancing Financial Assistance Oversight
There was a need to understand how copay utilization and reimbursements were taking place across patient programs and how this data could support future financial and operational planning.
- Improving Forecasting and Planning
The teams wanted automation to support forecasting for renewals, funding requirements and annual program volumes. The goal was to make it faster, more consistent and less manual.
- Advancing Product Lifecycle Insights
For new therapies that were being launched, they wanted a clear view of adoption and patient coverage, tracked through interactive dashboards.
- Maintaining Continuous Compliance
There was a focus on data privacy and governance. The goal was to ensure all operations were aligned with regulations like CCPA and ASDR through automated and auditable workflows.
Our Solution
Agilisium developed a unified analytics platform using AWS and Snowflake that brought all commercial and access systems into a single data environment. This solution combined automation, dashboards and predictive logic that helped the client monitor patient access operations, reimbursement patterns and product launches in a connected way.
Modern Data Architecture
Data from Salesforce, TOC Desk, vendor systems and BigQuery was brought into AWS using Glue and Lambda. It was stored securely and structured inside Snowflake to be ready for analysis and reporting.
Access and Copay Analytics
Dashboards built on ThoughtSpot gave visibility into authorizations, renewals and reimbursements. Teams could easily see pending actions and take quick decisions based on live information.
Forecasting Automation
Through GPF logic, forecasting became an automated process. It supported planning for renewals and benefit investigations more accurately and consistently across high volume periods.
Product Launch Analytics
The Ocrevus Zunovo combination therapy rollout was tracked through dedicated dashboards. They provided information on patient coverage, first infusion timelines and adoption rates that supported brand and market planning.
Regulatory and Compliance Automation
Automated workflows handled data retention and anonymization based on region and consent. This kept the platform compliant with CCPA and ASDR standards while reducing manual intervention.

The Outcomes

Unified Patient Access Intelligence
A single analytics platform now connects data from enrollment, copay and product launches into one place.
This helped business and access teams make faster data driven decisions and plan renewals or rollouts with better coordination.

Financial and Program Oversight
Dashboards continuously track copay utilization and reimbursement activities, giving clear visibility into program performance.

Predictive Program Support
Automated forecasting identifies renewals and benefit investigations in advance, allowing operations to stay ahead of deadlines.

Compliance Assurance
Automated retention and anonymization workflows ensure the platform stays aligned with CCPA and ASDR regulations and remains audit ready.
